For the Apple:

1. Sketch design onto the rock. Using the Lipstick (DA506) for the apple and Turf Green (DA520) for the stem paint the colors in with a small paintbrush using a  pointed brush when necessary.

2. Add outlining and shading using a fine point permanent marker. Using Cotton Ball (DA500) and the fine pointed brush, add highlights:

For the Avocado:

1. Sketch the design onto the rock. Using Turf Green (DA520) paint entire avocado shape with the small paintbrush.

2. Mix a small amount of the Turf Green (DA520) paint into a larger amount of the Canary (DA514) color making a light yellow-green (save any leftover paint for later use on the pea pod and watermelon rocks). Paint the avocado leaving a small outline of the dark green visible using the small paint brush.

3. Use Black Tie (DA539) to paint in the avocado seed with the small paintbrush.

4. Outline the avocado and add shading using the fine point permanent marker. Using Cotton Ball (DA500) and the fine pointed brush add highlights to the avocado seed.

For the Lemon:

1. Sketch the design onto the rock. Using Canary (DA514) paint the lemon slice with the small paintbrush.

2. Mix a small amount of Canary (DA514) in a larger amount of the Cotton Ball (DA500) until you get a pale yellow. Paint in the triangles using the pointed paint brush.

3. Outline the lemon slice and add shading and texture using the fine pointed permanent marker.

For the Peas:

1. Sketch the pea pod onto the rock. Using Turf Green (DA520) paint entire pea pod drawing with the small paintbrush. Use the pointed brush when needed.

2. Mix a small amount of the Turf Green (DA520) paint into a larger amount of the Canary (DA514) color making a light yellow-green (or use the leftover from the Avocado) to paint what will be the inside of the pea pod.

3. Outline and add shading with a fine pointed permanent maker. Next, lighten the green paint mixture (used in step 3) with more Cotton Ball (DA500) and use the pointed paintbrush to paint in tiny circles (peas).

4. Outline the peas and touch up the outline on the pea pod.

For the Watermelon:

1. Sketch the watermelon slice. Using a small paintbrush, paint in the watermelon fruit with Lipstick (DA520) and the rind using Turf Green (DA520).

2. To paint in the fruit use Lipstick (DA506) and the small paint brush. Next, outline the watermelon slice being sure to add shading and the seeds using the fine pointed permanent marker. Using Cotton Ball (DA500) and the fine pointed brush, add highlights to the rind as shown in the image.
