Rock Garden - Sweet Tooth


Grab some rocks out of your driveway, or if your kids are like mine you'll probably find a couple of nice clean ones in your dryer! Satisfy your sweet tooth with this great rainy day activity!


SUPPLIES:

  • Chick - DA543
  • Cotton Ball - DA500
  • Inch Worm - DA563
  • Orange Sherbet - DA510
  • Pink Cadillac - DA503
  • Rocks
  • Fine-tipped Permanent Marker

INSTRUCTIONS:

For the Donut:

1: Sketch the design onto the rock. Using Chick (DA543) paint in the donut.


2. Sketch in frosting and paint with Pink Cadillac (DA503).


3. Outline the donut, add shading and add sprinkles using the fine point permanent marker.


For the Ice Cream:


1. Sketch Ice Cream design onto the rock. Using Cotton Ball (DA500) paint the cone and Orange Sherbet (DA510) to paint the scoop of ice cream.



2. Outline the ice cream and be sure to add hatching to the cone!



For the Macaroon:

1.  Sketch the design onto the rock. Use Inch Worm (DA563) to paint the cookie and Orange Sherbet (DA510) to paint the filling.



2. Outline the macaroon and add shading using the fine pointed permanent marker.


For the Cup of Coffee:

1. Sketch the design onto the rock. Use Baby Blue (DA567) to paint the cup and saucer.


2: Outline the cup and saucer adding shading and steam lines with the fine pointed permanent marker.


For the Cupcake:

1.  Sketch the cupcake onto the rock. For the liner, use Inch Worm (DA563) and for the Icing, use Pink Cadillac (DA503) and the cupcake itself, use Orange Sherbet (DA510).


2. Outline and shade the cupcake with a fine point permanent marker. Add stripes to the liner and sprinkles to the frosting.


I hope you love your new rock garden! I'm sure they look *almost* good enough to eat! Don't forget to send me pictures of your finished rocks!
